You will be required to oversee the content output throughout the US time zone. The position requires someone knowledgeable and with sufficient experience in reporting the cryptocurrency market to accurately recognize and scout important news.

The position requires you to be well aware of the current trends in the market and the people involved in it, including, but not limited to powerful and influential figures, major and well-known proponents and participants in the market, influencers, technical and fundamental analysts, and traders, and so forth.

Preferably, you should be available throughout the weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 11:00 AM to 17:00 PM.  Advantage: We’re strongly incentivizing work during weekends.

What do we expect?

• Excellent knowledge of the industry.
• Previous verifiable experience in the field of cryptocurrency journalism.
• Being able to quickly identify stories to cover and (potentially) write them up and publish.
• Fact-checking capabilities to verify stories.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain-based technology to a reasonable extent.
• Strong interest and passion for the industry, as well as a will to improve and grow with the company.
• English level: Fluent and above.
• Advantage: Being able to deliver breaking news stories within 1-2 hours.
• Advantage: Basic understanding of trading concepts – technical analysis indicators, candlestick patterns, correlation between legacy and crypto markets, etc.
