We are seeking a dynamic and connected Investor Relations Lead to join the Cointelegraph Accelerator team. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of the crypto venture capital (VC) landscape, a robust network of industry contacts, and a passion for fostering strong relationships. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our accelerator projects and the VC community, ensuring fruitful collaborations and sustained engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• VC Network Management:
• Cultivate and maintain warm relationships with existing VC partners within the crypto and blockchain sector.
• Expand our network by identifying and engaging with new potential investors and venture capital firms.
• Primary Communication Liaison:
• Serve as the main point of contact between accelerator startups and the VC network.
• Facilitate effective communication, ensuring that startups are adequately prepared and informed for investor interactions.
• Strategic Investor Engagement:
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance investor relations and maximize opportunities for accelerator projects.
• Coordinate and host investor meetings, pitch sessions, and networking events.
• Market Intelligence & Insights:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, investment patterns, and emerging opportunities within the crypto VC space.
• Provide insights and recommendations to both internal teams and accelerator projects based on market analysis.
• Support Accelerator Projects:
• Assist startups in refining their pitch decks, business plans, and investment proposals.
• Provide guidance on best practices for investor engagement and fundraising strategies.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports on investor interactions, feedback, and potential opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and agreements with VC partners.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, business development, or related roles within the crypto/blockchain industry.
• Industry Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of the crypto VC ecosystem, including key players, investment trends, and regulatory considerations.
• Network:
• Established and active network of contacts within the crypto and blockchain VC community.
• Skills:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
